This week on the Pakistani Kitchen Blog,
I'm creating an enticing chocolate cake that will be incredibly moist and delicious. so delectable It will be prepared with a deep flavor of Chocolate ganache It'll be topped with chocolate. I've had curls since I was a kid. Chocolate cake with custard is a must-try. It's still a favorite of mine, but I came across chocolate ganache. They both decide on chocolate cake for the man. extremely well matched and this is going to be my version. of ganache-coated chocolate cake. Without a doubt, you'll enjoy it.
Let's get started without further ado.
Sift some cocoa powder into a bowl. Now carefully pour in the boiling water. You'll need about a cup
of this and we'll add boiling water to really bring out the flavor of the cocoa powder. Now we need to cool down this cocoa powder, so I'm going to use a cup of milk and I'm just going to add that straight in and mix it up and set it aside. Now grab another bowl and in that I'm just going to add the butter. This is unsalted butter. Now with sugar. This might seem like a lot of sugar, but because we're making a large chocolate cake, it So now that the mixture is well creamed together, I'm going to keep whisking and
just start adding our eggs in one at a time, okay? Adding one egg at a time really helps bring the mixture together, so make sure you do that third egg.
Grab your spatula and make sure to clean the sides. Look at that. That's precisely what you're
looking for. Now put in the vanilla extract, which will really bring out the chocolate taste. Set that aside for now, and grab 2 cups of sifted flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder.I mean lack of balls, so here's our egg sugar and butter mixture, which I'll just keep to the side. Here we go over cocoa powder, which was mixed with milk, a little bit of water, and here's our flower. Okay, so all of our ingredients are ready, and I'll just show you how we're going to assemble them.Grab your whisk and let's get
started mixing this. You just want to start adding a little bit of that cocoa mixture and a little bit of
that flour as well in there. This way, our cake will be amazingly soft and rich all right. So keep adding that cocoa and a little bit of that flour as well in there. This way, our cake will be amazingly soft and rich all right. So stop here a second. I'm just going to clean off the sides. All right, very important again, you want to add a bit of Clean off the sides again. I'm going to grab two cake pans and grease
them all right.
This butter is at room temperature, so it's perfect and I'm just going to put it back in. It's also good to rub some butter around the sides as well. I'm just going to add some cocoa powder and you just want to go around the sides and make sure you dust it properly.Grab our batter and a scoop, and I'm just going to add equal amounts of scoop into both of them. Before you do that, make sure to preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. This will just ensure our cake is equal in shape, and what I like to do now is just give them a small tap. They're ready to go into the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 35 to 40 minutes. Just go around the edges and make sure it's properly coated before removing the excess. For the ganesh, we'll need dark chocolate, so I'm going to grab about 300 grams of dark chocolate here and try to thinly slice it. It'll really help melt our chocolate when we pour in the devil cream, but be careful with your fingers. We don't want you to chop them off as well. All right, so that looks great. You can
never have enough balls, trust me. Moving on, we're going to bring 300 ml of devil cream to sizzle.
I'll just start slowly mixing it at first, and you'll think, "Oh man!" where are all the Ganeshs, but you'll find them. As time goes on, it will start to fall into place. Now you'll see Everything starts at the
beginning, middle After you've blended it, Just put it to the side so the cakes don't get soggy.
When they're finished, they look fantastic. What I'm going to do is simply let it go. Before we
take them, we'll let them cool off for a few minutes. They're out.So, I'm simply going to take it slowly.
I'm just going to get rid of this. Place the cake on this plate.I'm just going to let them rest for a
little bit longer because they're still hot before we slice them off all right. Now using some thread, I'm just going to cut the cake from the middle. You have to be careful all right. You don't want to break
the cake and you need to make sure it's evenly proportioned here. I'm just going to start cutting
it from here. I found this much easier than using a knife. Just using the plate, I'm just making a slit in
the middle.Place that in the middle of this plate here and carefully remove this pad that we don't need yet. So now you can make it two layers, three layers, or four layers if you want, but I'm just going to make it three layers because I think it'll look really nice. Now we just want to add ganache on there, all
right, spread that around. You just want to place another layer of your cake onto there, so just carefully, you know, with the help of this plate So the bottom of the surface is on the cake. You know, it's
nice and flat. Put more ganache on there. Just spread that evenly on there. You just want to go at the edge, you know, just so with the edge and just spread it and now what you want to do is just go over the edges as well. Just all over around here all right. So I've cleaned the sides and that's how it's delicious.
Now I'm just going to add a little bit of the chocolate curls on top.As a result, the cake's bottom
is on the surface. You know, it's nice and flat. Put more ganache on there. Just spread that evenly over
there. You just want to go at the edge, you know, just so with the edge and just spread it, and now what
you want to do is just go over the edges as well.
It's just all over around here all right.
So I've cleaned the sides, and it's lovely now.
Now all I have to do is sprinkle a few chocolate curls on top.
