Hello, Atif Mahmood here, and welcome to the Pakistani Kitchen.
But the recipe comes from the streets, so join me in making Pakistani Style Dhaba Chicken Curry. So let's go to work. To begin the Dhaba recipe, I'll take a pot and turn on the stove. Add oil. I'll also
add some ghee to that, which will enhance the flavor of the dish. I'm going to add ginger-garlic paste
after the oil starts to heat up. Cook for one minute. I'm going to add the chicken pieces after a minute
of sauteing.Sauté the chicken for at least 5 minutes with the ginger-garlic paste.
After 5 minutes of cooking, I'm going to add sliced green chillies and cook for another two minutes. After that, I'll add two sliced onions and fry till golden brown. Now that the onion and chicken are
somewhat brown, I'm going to add the tomato and simmer it till it's mashed. I'm going to add turmeric
powder now that the tomatoes have a soft texture.
powdered red chili.
Powdered coriander
powdered cumin.
Masala Garam.
Black pepper powder and salt.
I'm going to add some water to the chicken now so the masala doesn't burn, and I'm going to simmer the masala till the rawness is gone.Once the masala is thoroughly cooked, I'll add a little yogurt to it, which will give the gravy a beautiful velvety texture once it's done.
Now that the chicken is 75 percent cooked, I'll add a splash of cream to the gravy to thicken it up. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and cook for at least 5 minutes after adding the cream.Guys, our chicken
is about ready to eat.And the gravy is thick and rich. I'm going to add a little butter to the gravy now to
give it more richness and flavor. I'm going to cover it again and cook it for at least 2-3 minutes.
The chicken is about done. The oil has also begun to separate from the sides. Now I'm going to add a
good amount of fresh coriander, chopped. Cook for two more minutes after mixing it in with the gravy. Let's get started plating our Pakistani Dhaba Chicken Curry. I'm going to use ginger Juliennes, tomato
Juliennes, and torn mint leaves as garnish. And with that, our Pakistani Dhaba Chicken Curry is
complete.I hope you enjoyed seeing me prepare this flavorful Pakistani Dhaba Chicken Curry. Please
give it a try at home and let me know how it turns out. Take care and farewell.
